Our Contributing Counsellors

Contributing counsellors volunteer their time to serve the Band Together Community in our forums. We recognize not everyone has the opportunity to connect with a professional counsellor, so inside each of the forum topics is an Ask a Counsellor heading that you can post your question and receive a response. This is not meant to replace private counselling or provide specific advice, but simply to give general information and best practices related to your inquiry.

DISCLAIMERS

While we welcome open and honest discussion, please be aware that our forums are moderated and any comments that are deemed hateful, derogatory or generally threaten the inclusivity of our community will be removed. Please use the ‘report’ button within the community forums to ensure this continues to be a safe place. The views, thoughts and opinions expressed in the forums below belong solely to the author and/or contributing counsellors and not necessarily to Band Together Community.

This is a discussion forum and not equivalent nor is it meant to replace formal counselling. If you are in need of urgent support please contact the emergency resources listed on this site under the ‘crisis help’ tab.

Any comments that disclose involvement in criminal activity or explicitly promote violence, self-harm, and suicide will be removed for the protection of our community. Additionally, any comments which confess criminal activity will be forwarded to law enforcement for further investigation.
