This Edmonton based 24-hour crisis line provides immediate support and can refer to other agencies if needed. Call now if you or someone you know is in crisis: contemplating suicide, feeling overwhelmed, or experiencing abuse.

American Crisis Line: 1-800-273-8255

If you or someone you know is in crisis, you can reach our 24-hour help line. Trained crisis workers will listen to you and direct you to the resources you need.

Canadian Suicide Prevention: 1-833-456-4566

The new Canada Suicide Prevention Service (CSPS) by Crisis Services Canada enables callers anywhere in Canada to access crisis support by phone 24/7 in English or French. The Lifeline services are also available as an app.

American Suicide Prevention Lifeline - 1-800-273-8255

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a United States-based suicide prevention network of 161 crisis centers that provides a 24/7, toll-free hotline available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.

Canadian Crisis Text Line

If you live in Canada, text 686-868 to communicate with a trained Crisis Responder. You are immediately connected with a real life person who will help calm you down.

American Crisis Text Line

If you live in the USA, text 741-741 to receive support via text message from the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

211 for Resources

Not sure who to call? 211’s telephone line and online directory helps deal with life’s challenges. The service connects users with vital community and social resources, close to home and specific to their needs. From basic needs like housing and food, to support for seniors and children, to responding to crisis situations, 211 is there.

911 Emergency

911 emergency is when someone needs help right away because of an injury or an immediate danger. 


A place to anonymously share your mental and emotional health journey in order to break through fear, shame and isolation. You can also read the stories of others. There is significant healing in taking the vulnerable step to share your experience and put words to the journey you have walked. All stories are received and posted anonymously.


Band Together bracelets give you a tangible reminder that you are never alone in your struggles and that at your core, you are an overcomer. The bracelets were created with significant intention, right from the design including three white beads to the colours of the beads themselves. Wear your band with purpose and for solidarity – you are never alone!
