Hey there, depression can feel debilitating and sounds like it’s been super difficult to be motivated especially during this time with Covid. I think right now it’s normal for lots to feel miserable. Sometimes when we can’t sleep it can be better to wake up and have a tea, write out our thoughts and distract with this rather than thinking about not sleeping. There’s probably so many things you’re thinking about along with others too. Are you taking any medications, sleep aids etc that might help? Exercising can also help with endorphins to make you feel a little better and even help tire the body so you can sleep.
Can you be honest with BF about your feelings too? Naming these feelings and getting support is important.
Sorry for the late reply- is also be happy to do a free consult with you if you are interested-
What have you tried as of yet? I’d like some others to chime in too.

    Hi Amanda,

I am just reading many of the forum posts and couldnt help but comment on here. I think your story could really help others and it inspires me to see how much work you’ve put into your self. Its nice to see that you have good supports in your life and imagine it has made all the difference.

I am one of the “ask a counsellor” people, but thought I would comment in general discussion. Have a great day, thanks for sharing.

I understand everyones situation differs, but there may be some common themes. It would be great to be a part of this forum. I am looking forward to being part of Band together community.
